Hi, my name is Lisa Rowland and I teach JA Economics and AP Economics.

Students are expected to read a minimum of one article a week and either post one comment online, or turn in a hard copy of their comments in class.

We should only get the goods we use from us that way we can make srue that the goods are good and thaat the people of America are enployed that way we can keep are soisity going and are people working but that is my oppenian.
Why do we need to import food from china when we have enough space in the U.S. to grow it ourselves?? The U.S has anough space (land) to produce these foods ourselves!!
I think that chinese goods are safe. But i can see why some people would question the safety of the chinese goods. Also I believe that the store will eventually start taking back chinese goods. In conclusion I think that the store will eventually start importing chinese goods too.
i think that china goods needs to be rid off and we need to start to producing more american goods. an sop leaning on other countries for items, goods and ect.
i believe chinese goods are safe to America and our economy. For one they are cheaper than having to buy goods from american industries, because our country needs to save money. It looks like we are headed in a recesion, because we can hardly finance the war in Iraq. I dont think the chinese goods are doing any harm to our society
I think that chinease goods are good for our country because. Mostly everything that we use over here in america are chinease made products. And unless people start to complaining more about malfunctions with chinease made toys and other goods, we should just keep allowing the trade to go on. They supply a great portion of cars, food, and entertainment which is why I feel that these goods are very usefull towards us
I think many goods from China are very useful here in the US. Mostly everything that we use over here in America are chinease made products. Also i believe that if we were to recieve these products from a different country or even our own there will be call backs no matter what. Mistakes happen everyday all we can do is wait it out untill the problem is fixed.
Everything we own pretty much comes from China so, it's going to be a challenge for us to start making things ourselves. It's a good thing, though, because we as a country need to take care of ourselvesl.
I think we should get the goods from China because it is a whole lot of new electronics. Also some of the cell phones is made from different countries. And I see why some people dont want those products because of the lead on the products.
i think we should keep it up most things we need are from china...
I really could care less if we get goods from china anymore because we can provide for ourselves and people that are panicing about it are weak we need to live up to what we are which is the strongest country in the world.
I think that we should get the best of everything and if that means that we have to pay a little more then so be it. Cause our kids are worth it.
