Hi, my name is Lisa Rowland and I teach JA Economics and AP Economics.

Students are expected to read a minimum of one article a week and either post one comment online, or turn in a hard copy of their comments in class.
My hope is that students will learn more about economics and gain more interest in the subject by reading and writing their thoughts on current events. The site clustrmap shows visitors from all around the globe, please email and let us know what you think of our site.

I think technology is very helpful and can help help improve ones everyday life. I also think that Microsoft will not merge with Yahoo. I think that Microsoft is doing fine by there self and would not do that. In conclusion I think technology is a great tool in todays world
the robots of the future so to speak will be complicated and advanced. but will probably break with in a month or so of use as for Microsoft and google merging never happen, unless Microsoft consumes google in a buyout battle so to speak.
Technology is an amazing thing that has made life what it is today. however, it can also backfire, so I think companies that are building robots and things of that nature should be careful. I don't think the Microsoft/Yahoo merge is going to happen because both companies are doing quite well on their own.
i watched the toyota robot play the trumpet and violin. at a car show, on youtube. technology has really gone up the ladder of success in the past ten years..... i remember when nintedo was the coolest toy.
I think these would be a good toy for a little boy because My nephew likes to play with toys like this. I also think it would be a cool toy because I like electronics as shown in the picture. Just hope they dont let you down.

I think that robots are good in moderation but they seem to slowly taking over the work place. The new robots that weld and assemble cars are taking jobs. even tho they do a better job and do it faster it just hurts our nation. but as long as we do not become dependent on robots than i do not see a problem with them.
I think having a robot friend by your friend in the so called "future technology" would be pretty cool. I wouldnt mind for a robot to let the dogs out, take out the trash, and even help me with homework (when needed) =D
I think the technology is advancing very quickly. I dont doubt that there will be robots in the near future to do things for us. but I wouldnt totally relie on them. If they run everything what happens if they break or shut down then your in a lot of trouble.
Robots will be a major factor in the future and will be very resourceful but i like how they start off small and it will soon build into something much bigger and it will most definitely change the world.
I think there is a very good chance that there will be robots in the future that may help us but i think it will affect our economy in a very bad way. If this were to happen robots would be taking over jobs and or breaking and causing problems with other technology. If this were to be the future I think there would be a very bad outcome from this. I think we should be more resonsible and stop being lazy about normal day things.
Yes technology is more popular today and advancing as years pass...I think robots would be to advanced and more people would depend on the robots and not do things for their selvs!
Robots and other technology has improved so much. Its very helpful in our world, but it can also come back and hit you in the face. I don't think you can truly rely on it, anything can break. As much as it improves, and can do cool things, we as humans should still do just as much as we do.
I do not think robots will be the future many people cant even afford the toys right now.If robots did ever come that advanced i think it will ruin many things.
