Hi, my name is Lisa Rowland and I teach JA Economics and AP Economics.

Students are expected to read a minimum of one article a week and either post one comment online, or turn in a hard copy of their comments in class.
My hope is that students will learn more about economics and gain more interest in the subject by reading and writing their thoughts on current events. The site clustrmap shows visitors from all around the globe, please email and let us know what you think of our site.

I think that Walmart is a very succesful buisness. I think that it is a really suprising that they would start doing bad. Although the economy is going downward I still beieve that Walmart will do fine. In conclusion i think that Walmart will still do fine throughout this time.
Walmart has been very succesful for a very long time and i think the community is at a stand still. I believe that Walmart is more succesful than it sould be i also believe that they have great prices but are ruining other businesses. Walmart is not the only business losing money at this point.
Walmart is a very big very big store for the working class and under payed people and people wills shop their during the christmas season but buying a gift card to their of a gift is a little cheap and that might play in the fact that the cards are not selling. just because wlamart is going down does not mean that the country is not going in to a recession , all good this will come to an end some time and walmart might just of hade its run and now people realise that walmart is communist.
Walmart is a very popular store everyone i know goes shoppin there! I think it is doing fine with the downward economy.
