Will The Towne Mall Survive?

Dilliards is turning out the lights in the Towne Mall. What do you think is the future for this mall? What would you like to see happen?

the middletown area is slowly but surely turning into a ghost town do to lack of money and ect. witch is making the mall die out.

personally i think the mall sucks and it can only get worse. every time i visit our mall i feel like i just walked into a dead zone or something. there barely anybody there and yes i do think it will die out soon.

I think that the mall should get stores that everyone shops at like hollister, american eagle, abercrombie, and aeropostale. I think if they get stores like these the towne mall will get more people but right now the mall sucks there is nothing there so i think it will die out.

i think that our mall sucks and i only go in there if i have to. there are no stores so no one wants to shop there. maybe if we get some new stores people will want to shop there.it may already be too late. i think it will be dead soon.

I think that the Middletown Mall is becoming less attractive every day. I think that if it continues how it has been, then it will eventually close. I do also believe that if the Middletown mall puts in new store such as Holister, Abercrombie, or Old Navy , then the mall will recuperate. In conclusion the future of the Middletown Mall is not looking to bright.

If they would build more bussiness and such there would be hat much of a problem i think. But if so many people werent lazy they could be making money then they could buy stuff at the mall and spend money then things would better.

The towne mall is terrible. It just gets worse. I was told that the whole mall is going to become an outlet mall. So basically, the towne mall will not survive

I think they should have tore it down last summer like they were talking and rebuilt it and it would have been finished by this coming summer maybe even now it would be a nice upgrade for the city and to make it noticeable make it a two story mall so its noticeable from I-75 and attract more business and probably bring in more money and would pay off in the long run

Well in my opinion the mall needs to close and they need to rebuild it to an outlet mall .They talk about bringing business to middletown by build the hospital and the drury hotel but if we had something to occupie visiters when they come then maybe they would move here and middletown would have more workers and be a better enviroment to live in !but instead middletown spends their money on stupid stuff and take too long to rebuild stuff.people in this town are lazy.look at all the pot holes !middletown needs to step it up!

Having big part of the town mall shutting down is a big hit to out shopping part of middletown. If you look around to other stores they are booming in business and they are even having to grow ie walmart , now why cant a place like the mall grow or even do business. i think its not the stores in the mall ut the people hat own the mall not bring in new business and fresh faces to the town if they would just spend some money and put new stores in the mall i think that it will survive and begin to grow.

I do not think the mall will last there really is no point to go there anymore all the stores are closing so there is not much there now only thing the mall is good for now is to go hang out when your bored

I think we need to add on to our mall the town mall is the only mall where i can wear whatever and not be ashamed because there is never anyone in there anyway. but they do need to add more stores and more food places im tired of eatin pretezels and gold star.

the mall is closing but if they did not say that it was closing in the first place places would still be their but they made the mastk in desiding to close so all the coumpens left so that they would not be kicked out wen they wanted to redo the mall and if they would have not sayed that then they would still have shoppers and bussiness in the mall so it is their fult

The mall would die out anyways even if dillards was still there. This city is turning into a ghost town and without our mall. There wont be no middletown.

the towne mall is not in good shape. People would rather go to the dayton mall because they have more of a selection and they would rather waist the gas.

The towne mall is dying out. The stores there are absolutel boring and "lame". There are NO good stores and basically the only people that go in there are elderly people to walk in the mornings. The mall needs some popular stores in order to survive, but I don't think that is going to happen. Sadly, Middletown itself is just a boring, miserable place.

I think that the mall should be torn down and replaced with a more modern exciting mall that is attractive to the eye. in the mall should have all the popular stores, and food shops.

I think a lot of people go in the mall for the larger stores like Dillard's and Sear's, and walk around the rest of the mall just to see if there's anything they can find to buy. Without Dillard's I think the rest of the mall will for sure go downhill. Not a lot of the stores in there can afford the monthly payments to stay in the mall because they can't sell their generic stuff. I think if the payments were cheaper, people would want their businesses there .. and people would be more attracted to the mall. It goes hand in hand.
