Another company has joined another crowd in looking for a bail out from government. Read this article and comment with your opinion about what government should do, if anything, to help GM.

i think that GM should think of merging with another car company. They could ask for help from the government but it would be bad for publicity :( If they filled bankrupt then that would result in worse consiquences and bad publicity. there really isn't much that they can do right now with the economy the way it is. I guess they can be like everyone else and wait for obama to make things "change", although i doubt that will happen.
i think that they brought this on themselves. if they would have managed their money and stuff better then this wouldnt have happened. i guess the only options they have now is to file bankruptcy or wait and hope things get better. they should have been smarter with their money :(
I think that the companies should be allowed to collapse, because government intervention is not part of laissez faire, and our economy should be free, and if the companies didn't handle their money correctly in the first place they should have to deal with their mistakes.
I think GM deserves every thing that is going on whit them. If they was care less enough to let this happen in the first place they should have to pay for it and the economy should have to suffer from it.
To be perfectly honest, this sudden fall out doesn't apply to me as many would think. I couldn't care less about a car company with another.
I think that GM has caused their problems themselves, and they should be able to fix them, themselves. They could ask for help from the goverment, but that could result in problems for that national economy. Maybe they should just go out of business, and wait for the overall economy to get better. If that ever happens.
I agree, they should merge with another car company because GM has had too many problems, mostly with money. Besides, GM is a really good car company. So why wouldn't the government help them out? At least see if it does any good because if not it should be shut down.
