Hi, my name is Lisa Rowland and I teach JA Economics and AP Economics.

Students are expected to read a minimum of one article a week and either post one comment online, or turn in a hard copy of their comments in class.

the food price need to go down so that we can feed all the people in the wourld with out any one going hungy farmers should get paid by the state just to make food for every one to get some and than have stores so people can buy what they need but the people that need a little help should get help people should not strive just because they can not afford to get food or evan a home people need food and water to seurvie the harsh wourld and that is what needs to happen
I think the raising of prices for products an goods are getting rediculas because the higher prices get the more people salaries rise it makes no since, why not leave pay and prices be? The government trys to keep the pay and prices steady with each other even though every time prices go up citizens get ripped off by losing more money each day the pices rise. Its a continuous cycle.
It's really not fair that we have millions of people starving, and yet there are people with over millions of dollars getting whatever they want. The prices just keep going up with each time we get a raise on minimum wage- it never ends. I know people who are actually struggling to get groceries for their kids because of how high the vital foods are.
Food prices do need to go down because some people cant afford all these overwhelming prices with gas and other goods living of minimum wage. Some things at restaurants are still the same price, its just the give you a smaller portion.
With the cost of being able to live in a home and have the necessities in a house hold, The prices on food have tacked on even more struggles. People nowadays are still just getting by. Now when food prices are going up it those a wrench into a well oiled engine and now were at a point of stalling. It will throw everything of causing The Economy to be in udder chaos.
It is very sad that food prices are going up so much. this just means more people around the world are going to go hungry and possibly die.
The price of food is on the rise due to the recent recession mostly I think kinda like gas is on the rise foods are on the rise to I can see the price of corn going up because it is used to make gas but does that mean all food prices need to go up no not really it just means more people are going to go hungry because they dont have the money to buy food
by raising the prices of food and goods in america is dumb whats the point of raising them? by raising them it makes it bad for other people that really dont have that much money to spend and everybody is just going to be in debt
Prices are crazy. But hourly wages go up to. I see it as a never ending cycle, I don't understand the point in raising prices and wages all the time.
Food prices is outrageous because some people can't afford to pay bill, pay for gas, and get groceries. But you dont have to buy name brand foods all the time. Sometimes you will need to sacrifice .
