Hi, my name is Lisa Rowland and I teach JA Economics and AP Economics.

Students are expected to read a minimum of one article a week and either post one comment online, or turn in a hard copy of their comments in class.
My hope is that students will learn more about economics and gain more interest in the subject by reading and writing their thoughts on current events. The site clustrmap shows visitors from all around the globe, please email and let us know what you think of our site.

For a movie that is only supposed to be out for a "limited time only", they sure made A LOT of money from it. Personally I'm not all that fond of Miley Cirus anyway.
I think miley cyrus is getting to be very popular with her concerts that sell out in a maxium of 10 min,and her hit show hannah montana and now this 3-D concert shes accomplishing alot and making tons of money !disney channel is very lucky to have her and keep up the good work!
Personally, I think a lot of times we pay so much money to see people in concerts and such for the person- our obsessions. Rather than for their talents. It's because we've seen them on tv or whatever the case is. They are getting tons of money off of these concerts and kids love her show. But do the kids want to see her because of her talents? Or because she's the "girl on tv"? Parents should think twice. Though, I guess either way it doesn't really matter to a kid.
Miley Cyrus is becoming very popualr. Everywhere you go there is Hannah Montana or a Miley Cyrus CD or toy you can buy. Little girls today love her. She is making a Disney Channel even more popular than what it already was. They should feel very lucky for that.
I think that Miley Cirus/Hannah Montana is doing the dog on thang. She is doing what she loves and she also givig back to the community. I think this movie is going to make or brake her in the long run.And making it live is even better. And Disney is making alot of money off her because of there ratings.

I think Hannah Montanna is a very popular show/movie for childen and teens. I think the LIMITED TIME ONLY scam was unneccesary I think either way it was broad casted there would have been a blowout at every cinemas in the US. Disney has been very succesful for a long time and will be for a long time to come.
I understand the hanna montana craze is big but come on 14 dollars for a movie. the teeny boppers are getting way to into teen idols or whatever. High school musical the Johnas Brothers and Hanna Montana are all the newest craze my little sisters love them. i guess what im saying is theyre better than britany and paris. but not 14 bucks a show better.
miley cyrus is a huge roll model for young kids. what she is doing is great. hopefully she will not end up like all the other teen stars. down the craper.
hannah montana what a fraud and a fake and a waste of money to spend in my opinion but hey to each their own opinion and wants to spend money on something so worthless
31.3 Million for a show in 3-D....that is ridculious. For a movie that is supposely for a "limited time only" it sure made alot of money.
I dont really watch hannah montana ever really but people seem to love her she contributes to the younger generation and I feel like this movie will be high in the stock market because will spend a lot of money to see her.
I think that Miley Cirus and the movie she is coming out with will be a hit for kids and adults alike. She is making A LOT of money from her show, shows but she will be making even more with this movie. Keep up the good work.
I don't find Hannah Montana very entertaining to me i really don't watch her show its not like i hate her i just don't know who she is or her talents she just popped up out of nowhere then i seen her everywhere.
I think she is doin what she loves to do and as long as shes doin that nothing else should matter. Also shes giving back to the community so the movie can make as much as they can.
