117,000+ is a mass amount of money for a stay at home mom but i think the government should pay the stay at home mom cause now their are paying the parents of handie capped kids to take care of them so why not pay stay at home moms

I think that stay at home moms should be payed because they have to be stay at home moms for a reason and to take care of the family and the family members going to jobs and school and make sure that they are taken care of for their future. Stay at home moms very busy taking care of their family they dont have much time to work. And everyone knows keeping a house clean and cooking is a job itself.

Yes, the work stay at home moms do is not easy and it probably is a lot more than people think. But what about the working moms? I do not think it is fair to say stay at home moms should get some much while in reality working moms do not get paid near as much. should the working moms get paid for the regular job and get paid for being a mother?

117,000 is not a lot of money when you look at how much work a stay at home mom does. It takes alot for a mom to clean the house just to have the kid/baby follow them around and destroy it as soon as its clean, and it's not like you can really get mad at them when they are young they don't know better til they are like 5 or 6 years of age!!!!!!! I also think stay at home moms should be paid, if i was a mom and got paid to stay home with my child i sure would!

Moms have been staying at home and raising kids for how many years? I agree that moms work very hard at home raising kids, and I understand that it would be difficult to stay at home and work that much overtime, but moms in the past have not been paid to raise children, and I think that American's society has done a reasonable job so far in that aspect.
